A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

Recycling

One of our troop's most successful fundraisers is to collect aluminum cans for recycling. Each week, one scout is assigned to collect the cans from various bins around town, using our troop recycling trailer. The cans are then taken to the local recycling center in exchange for money, based on pounds of aluminum. Of the money collected, 75% is deposited in the troop account, and 25% is deposited in the individual scout's personal account, which can then be used to help pay for activities like campouts and field trips.

Gopher State Scrap Iron is open Mon - Fri 8:00 - 4:00.
